Biblical Reincarnation Research Primer

There is one main concept that sets Christianity apart from other world religions, creating a chasm of thought and belief: one-life theism. The idea that we are destined to live one life, and afterwards face judgement and eternal punishment or reward based on the actions of a very finite existence. This creates an unbalanced view of justice that requires scores of Christian apologetics to dispel. What if this central belief was not original to Yeshua's teachings? What if reincarnation thought had been stripped from the original teachings to afford more power to those who would harness this new religion as a tool to control and subjugate the population? These questions and more are explored in this introduction to the topic. Originally written as a research proposal, this brief work includes an extensive list of references, a literature review of prior researchers' work, and a call for the work to continue.
